Nina Glazer - The Artist

I'm Nina Glazer.

Pug Mom, Wife, and Artist.

I want to say how thankful I am that you are here looking at my creations.
I've always loved painting and art.

In 2020, I decided to try out working with resin. My Husband fully supported me in the journey of getting supplies and trying it out.  I never thought myself as an artist, but then people started asking about my pieces. Something about working with Resin opened a door to my creative path. It started simple, with coasters and simple art pieces. Then, as my skill and understanding progressed, I started looking at other mediums to work with and my creations got bigger!

I started trying it all.

And I was loving it.

I was loving the process of getting the resin and pigments ready.  The free flowing nature of resin and how to control it to get it to do what I want.  Before I knew it, I was selling my work to friends first, and then strangers started asking about buying pieces.  It was an almost euphoric feeling when I found out that my art was going to compliment a room design in someone's home, or be hung proudly for others to see.  It seemed surreal and still seems surreal.
I didn't want to stop at Resin.

I always wanted to try my hand at different mediums.  I had always dabbled in painting before, but nothing with any real direction.  But, after I unlocked the creative door, it was impossible to close.  I started using alcohol inks to create small business card size paintings.  Understanding how to manipulate the ink, and create beautiful scenes.  I graduated to larger scale portraits and eventually combined both my resin and alcohol ink passions into one when I started working with ceramic tiles, alcohol inks and resin to create more beautiful functional art.

This is only the beginning of my journey, and I'm happy to share it with you all.
As for what the future brings for me and my art.

The possibilities are endless.
